If you attended NNS Family Day on Oct. 28 and visited the X11/X18 tent, chances are you participated in a goodie bag giveaway contest by guessing how many pieces of candy were in two containers.

With over 2,000 entries, estimates ranged from 100 pieces to over several thousand. No one guessed the exact number, but two winners came close. In the end, there were a total of 779 pieces of candy in both containers.

The closest guess, 777 pieces, was submitted by Kyle Morgan, a welding foreman who works on the Columbia-Class Submarine Construction Program. The second closest guess, 776 pieces, was from Andrew Fochtmann, an X11 fitter who works in the Sub Shop. The team congratulates both winners.
