Newport News Shipbuilding’s Apprentice School will host the next FORWARD (Future Opportunities Reaching the Workforce Apprentice Readiness and Development) Pre-Apprenticeship event Saturday, June 10, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The event will include hands-on demonstrations for students in the virtual simulation lab. Parents are welcome to participate in the team-building activities, a Q&A information session and a short tour of The Apprentice School. Registration will open at the end of April.
