Quality Craftsmen and Quality Role Models Recognized

For National Quality Month this year, Newport News Shipbuilding’s Quality Division accepted nominations for quality craftsman and quality role models to recognize them for their commitment to first-time quality.

Recognizing craftsmen and Quality Division personnel acknowledges their skill and dedication to delivering first-time quality work, while fostering a culture of “always good ships.”

The following were recognized as quality craftsmen or craftswomen: Donmeoa “Meme” Faison (X31), Edward Taylor (X11), Thomas M Wise III (X31), Michael Cooper (X42) and Jermaal Cooper (X32).

Recognized as quality role models were James McClain (X67), Orlyn Lopez (O03), Kendra Surber (O31), Angela Pangburn (K23) and Andre Graham (X67).
