Newport News Shipbuilding Talent Acquisition continues to host open-to-the-public “walk-in” hiring events for trade opportunities every Wednesday. Events are held at the NNS Employment Office, located at NetCenter (Suite 176, Entrance 3), from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Job seekers have the opportunity for an interview and on-the-spot job offer, if qualified. Job seekers must be age 18 or older, U.S. citizens and willing to work any shift.

Since the “Walk-in Wednesday” events started in January 2023, more than 6,000 job seekers have been interviewed, with thousands hired.
