Employees who are eligible to park in spaces reserved for disabled persons must obtain a unique parking hangtag from Newport News Shipbuilding by Nov. 27 to continue using those spaces.

By the effective date, eligible drivers must display their NNS-issued decal and the state-issued disabled parking placard or license plate while parking in handicap spaces on company property.

This extra step will ensure that only eligible drivers use parking spaces that NNS reserves for disabled drivers.

To apply for the NNS parking decal, employees should fill out the application on the NNS Parking and Transportation website on MyNNS. For further questions, email [email protected].

Parking decals can be picked up at Bldg. 103-1. Employees must present their disabled identification card issued by their state of residence to obtain the company decal.

If employees cannot access Bldg. 103-1, email Parking Solutions to make other arrangements.
