Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are open for the HII Scholarship Fund, which has awarded 1,555 scholarships totaling more than $4.2 million since its inception in 2016.

These financial scholarships are for the dependent children of employees who:

• Plan to enroll for the entire upcoming academic year in full-time undergraduate studies at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S. or Canada.
• Will be enrolled for the entire upcoming academic year in a reputable, tuition-based school readiness program, licensed to do business in the respective state.

This year, age range for pre-kindergarten school readiness programs has been expanded to children 3 to 5 years of age.

Children of all HII employees are eligible to apply, except for children of senior executives and employees who have been with the company for less than two years. The selection process is administered by Scholarship America and is independent of HII. No employee or officer of HII plays a part in the selection process.

Applications must be completed and submitted by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15.
