Eric Nguyen, received the 2024 fourth quarter Recognition Award from the Asian Shipbuilders Including All Nationalities (ASIAN) employee resource group.

Nguyen has participated in numerous difficult projects since starting at Newport News Shipbuilding in 2017. That includes fleet support for Los Angeles-class submarines, and in particular USS Boise (SSN 764). His work also focused on the surface ship support barge, and he supported work at the Kenneth A. Kesselring site. In addition, he has been a strong leader and mentor to the junior engineers.
